Dell Usb Memory Key Drivers Windows 98
If anyone finds a SMART Win98se driver that works with the SM9FLAMK key, I would really like to know about it. I've also purchased some other inexpensive keys (Staples Relay, Verbatim) that advertise Win98se drivers. Thank you! and it worked first time. It's recommend to give the keys back to DELL to let them eat these items. After cleaning off a multitude of spy-ware and viruses I decided to dig a bit further into why the key wasn't working and here is what I found. But I cannot find the driver for Win98Se. I actually found a .inf version of the XP .sys file, and it came close to working. Finally, I went into the original driver file, right clicked it, and went to "Properties"…and "unchecked" the "Read Only" Box under General Properties. Run the nusb36e.exe driver installer. This strikes me as odd, since the new Memory Keys are manufactured by M-Systems, not Lexmark. I sent an email to Smart Tech Support and they said they don't support Dell products. Dell support was of no help whatsoever and I see from the comments here that some people have actually forwarded the correct info to Dell and they are still clueless. Problem is the USB outlet isn't working according to my clicking on my computer - it doesn't show any other drive when I have a USB IN THE 98 COMPUTER..
