for comparison I have attached agere's latest driver/firmware. I am set as root user with admin password but it won't save my changes to the wireless configuration. eth0 Interface doesn't support scanning. Doc looks like 8.72 is the latest, yup readme is clear of this.
Then in the find box type pcmciautils and hit enter. Whatever though... Where is the gui package manager and what do I do to install the pcmciautils package? Something is really wrong here. I've heard that since WPA is all software oriented, the drivers just need to support the hooks for the software.
